Role and Responsibilities
The Director of Speaking reports to the President of AscendWorks. This person is responsible for representing the company to organizations seeking the value and message AscendWorks brings to the business community.
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Managing ongoing relationships with event planners of companies and organizations.
- Capturing all communications in the AscendWorks customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Working with the management team to strategize weekly to grow opportunities.
- Managing an ongoing pipeline of opportunities of paid speaking events.
- Negotiating fees with companies for paid seminars.
- Increasing the number of leads in the AscendWorks CRM system through networking.
- Continually defining and refining the AscendWorks approach to grow speaking engagements.
- Assist in engaging audience members at AscendWorks seminars
