The Cost of Being Slow

The problem with being slow is that you may not realize your speed deficit.  We tend to think relatively rather than absolutely.  If you are five years behind in your business systems and execution, it means a lot of money is lost in productivity and execution for your business.

The case for Google Apps as a facilitator of speed and collaboration has become widespread in comparison to traditional email, document and project systems.  Recently, Forrester Consulting researched the gains in adopting Google Apps for businesses.  You can find the report by clicking here.

Some highlights of the report are:

  • Productivity gains were dramatically higher cost savings than IT costs.
  • An integrated environment in Google Apps with collaborative features are quantified for monetary impact.
  • 3-to-1 return on investment in business value for product and project costs were found.
  • Scaled solutions for large customers showed over $10M in Net Present Value (NPV)

Most people do not change until there is a crisis.  It’s too bad.  They cost themselves monetarily every day while others are forging ahead with speed, precision and convenience.  Google Apps continually shines a light on outdated modes of working with its platform built for speed and collaboration.  Why be slow when you can take action?
