How We Work

Thank you for your interest in working with us at AscendWorks. We wanted to answer any questions you might have as you are deciding to do business with us. The following is an explanation of how we serve our customers as you consider a next step. There is a form at the end if you have any additional questions about our process, approach and philosophies to get comfortable how we do business.

Initial Consultations

We spend time with you to understand your requirements and goals. You may have experienced this already in an initial consultation online or in person where we mindmapped the problems you are seeking to solve. We spend time clarifying and focusing in on the strategies, systems and process to help you achieve higher levels of success.

Many of our clients recognize the immense value from this time where they are provided clarity and direction on what needs to happen.

From this meeting, we provide a way to do business together either by a Standard Service Offering, a Custom Consulting Project or decide not to move forward if there is not a good fit for our services (we would prefer not moving forward if the fit is not there).

Standard Service Offering

We have standard service offerings which serve you such as setup of certain business systems or Inbound Marketing services. We have a predefined framework for how we implement your specific system for your business and brand. In this case, we will provide a standard service offering order page for you. Upon your order, our team will launch a specific project area and set up a kick-off meeting to guide you through our delivery process.

Custom Consulting Project

You may have specific requirements for a CRM system, marketing technology or website that are outside of our standard service offerings. In this case, we will provide a custom proposal for you which will be sent to you for review. You can comment on this proposal and digitally sign the document to commence our business relationship. The proposal will capture the scope of work with estimated consulting hours to deliver your requirements.

Upon signing the proposal, we will send you an invoice for retainer hours to be used towards your project. We will provide an ongoing update of the budget and progress within your specific project area.

Project Management

Every client project will have a list of deliverables and milestones. We track this within our AscendWorks client area. You can learn more about how we manage projects in this article here.

Pricing

We have spent thousands of hours consulting with our clients. Our understanding of the market, our value to you and the results we deliver have helped us to build a mature and fair pricing model which our clients compensate us with. We provide standard pricing and consulting rates which all of our clients pay for our time and talent.

We solve complex problems. This takes smart thinking, creativity and a high level of execution. This is what we are known for and it is reflected in our service offerings.

We are not the highest in the market nor are we the lowest. Our clients trust us and are delighted with our work and continue to retain us for both standard service offerings and custom consulting work around the world.
